Passing the BMS entrance exam is valid for all cantons according to the Federal Vocational Training Act.

The student has the right to take the BMS entrance examination in his/her canton of residence and to attend the BMS in the neighboring canton. Learning material and examination requirements vary considerably and it is more difficult to pass the examination outside the canton.
